No. Voting for Trump could only have one outcome. Trump in office where he may or may not do what he promised. That's standard expectation.

In contrast the UK "Leave mandate" could be with a good deal, an average deal, a bad deal, or no deal at all.

The very minimum they can do at this point is do another referendum asking the people if they want to leave with no deal, or May's deal as these are the only 2 options available.

A few comments on that:
There have been polls already. The VAST MAJORITY (out of memory >70%) of British would vote for Brexit without a deal, rather than Brexit with Theresa's deal!!
That came as a shock to me because the UK Govnt office for budget responsibility estimated a maximum 2% reduction in Britain's GDP with May's deal, whereas with Brexit without deal it would be 8% and would go on for 15 years.
In any case here are some interesting polls. Would the Brexit vote win if there was a new referendum ?

only of the truth is allowed to come out. stupid people have been hooked onto the nationalist bandwagon and will not believe any analysis even though it is blatantly obvious that we are going to suffer for a very long time. i pity all the low paid who support brexit because they are turkeys voting for christmas without realising the consequences

So a dumb person can come out and say I voted for trump and expected such and such and I didn't know!

Sorry but it doesn't work that way.

The only people crying are the original people that voted to remain. They can't hack that they lost and Britain is leaving the EU. They can't hack that The Holy Ghost is PM and is gonna get things done and Britain will be out in a few weeks come what may.

Everyone else is fine with it.

Trump has proven to be the anti-politician! Why? Because he keeps his promises.

Not only that, but I think he has to be the first POTUS to not have started a war.

So what’s not to like? You would think he should be up for the Nobel Peace prize. But the elites won’t have that! They are still crying blue murder.

As for BREXIT! Parliament rejected the last deal and the EU said that is the only deal on offer. Therefore, there is no other choice other than WTO No Deal Brexit.

It’s up to the EU whether they want to be reasonable and compromise.

These estimates are just scare mongering like the murmurs of food and medicine shortages.

There will be no drop in GDP. In fact British GDP is growing faster than all EU members including Germany. EU is going into recession.

Explain the Brexit Party gaini gan extra 4% then inthe IPSOS poll and BOJO going +9 percent.

There have actually been 3 BREXIT referendums and at least 1 parliamentary vote to enact Article 50.

Britain has always elected anti EU MEPs for the last 3 Euro Elections.

Inthe last election, the BREXIT party had a clean sweep. So the Brits are have been strange bedfellows with the EZ and nothing has changed. They just want out!

Hungary might be next as well. They are becoming extremely anti EU in Hungary and their FM just told TUSK to go get stuffed! Hungary is going very anti immigrant and refuses to even talk with EU bigwigs.

Along withBritain, I support Hungary. They probably have the best Government in all of Europe bless their socks. :D

No man, that 34% was for a different question.
I will try finding the poll that compares just the 2, leave with May's deal or no deal. Notice LEAVE is the common denominator.
