Well done Mr Minister. A sensible decision in my book. Also encouraging to me the reports that

I am no more muslim than I am christian. I am a Cypriot, that welcomes any Cypriot government behaving in a modern secular manner for the welfare of all those that live in Cyprus. ELAM are with you however, so you are not alone.

if you are feeling insecure about a little girl wearing a headscarf i suggest you look for your insecurities else where, you have deeper problems you have not even admitted.

but while you are at it perhaps you can consider why half of the syrian population have found themselves driven from their homes. i would have thought you would understand what it means to lose your home after74 but hey perhaps your sensitive nature has been very suppressed well and truly. the anser is very simple your newly found friend israel and the yanks are actually responsible for all the mess in the middle east.

but when it comes to treatment of people who are migrants in the hands of the education and the police.

Pyro, remind me not to take a trip with you to any of the Gulf countries anytime soon! :D

What?
You wouldn't like to go in the strictly forbidden desert area (military base) and watch the American jets disappearing in some hole in the sand? All proud Bedouins live there riding their horses with their women on the back. Getting their food solely from hunting using hawks.
Amazing experience watching the hunt.
Come on man, where's your spirit of adventure?

And here's what the rich Sheikhs do today in town. Disgraceful!

The traveling adventure part sounds great, but you’ll get us locked up somewhere and who knows what else. :D

i heard you boys pay for the services the arbas have to offer. 50 lashes?

I don't know man. They brought me to court only once.
What court, it was just an Imam, no lawyers no anything. He told me "listen son, here we have laws
according to the Koran. Why you didn't pay your parking fine?"
I told him because there were 30 more vehicles parked illegally and the policeman
only fined me because I was a foreigner.
He said OK son, the Koran teaches us to be fair to ALL, you may go.

Hmm that gives me an idea for a sister website for the website I always meant to set up. convicts-reunited.com , got an upcoming job but have lost touch with that great key man you met back in your 98 pentonville stretch ? Just go to convicts-reunited.com. So the sister site would be something like JailTripAdvisor.com - independent ratings of the best jails around the world.

Not all Muslims are the same B25.
What if I tell you there are Muslim nations who hate the Turks having been their subjects under the Ottomans?
The girl was from Syria, we know both Christian and Muslim Syrians in Cyprus they are as fine people as us. She got educated in our schools from the age of 9, speaks the language perfectly, is a graduate student, nobody ever told her anything about her scarf, head scarfs are not even alien to our culture. That was a definite mistreatment and injustice.
Of course it got too much publicity, but that's the job of the media...

Well, that's pretty damn stupid if you ask me.

Your colleagues should have abandoned you because laughing at them during prayer is a totally stupid thing to do.

I would have slapped you one myself.
