you can't be more compassionate than that.

People like free stuff... Who knew eh...?

See also: The NHS.

you actually elieve what you just posted. people have a choice and go to these places. do you think anybody can just pop in and pick stuff up?
it is so easy to blame the victim, it makes assholes like you feel better about yourselves.

<<<If you need to make use of a food bank which is part of the Trussell Trust , a charity which runs hundreds of food banks across the UK, you will first need to be issued with a food bank voucher.

These are issued by different sources, such as Citizens Advice , doctors, health workers and social workers, while some food banks work with local housing associations and drug and alcohol support agencies too.

The decision is based on whether you are in a crisis situation and need emergency food.>>>>

I presume you are such a patriot you make a voluntary donation over and above what the government asks for every month...?

Who said anything about paying more than you need ? What is patriotic or democratic about just fucking of and leaving the country if the country democratically decides that you need to pay more tax than you want to pay or you were paying previously ?

When I lived in the UK I would regularly pop in to the NHS for unnecessary surgery and treatment because hey we all like free stuff. I did not need a new hip but hey they were giving them out for free so why not ? If these are the best stories and myths the right has then there is little to fear imo.

Who the hell is gonna work to pay the Government 98%? :? :? :?

Do you understand tiers ? He kept working vs not working because he liked the 100,000s of pounds of post tax income he earned before reaching the top tier.

Patriots who do not like the democratically elected government tax policy who then fuck off as a result are not really patriots or democrats are they ? Are you a patriot Paphitis ? Are you a democrat ?

whosaid anything about more tax than you have to, just what you are supposed to do without evading or avoiding tax, legal or otherwise. but i understand that your character may not be suitable for such things, greed and selfishness has the better of you and i am not sure there is any medical help for such condition. perhaps in the future the nhs will find a cure for you. we live in hope.

I do not know how to explain this any simpler. If my father had stopped working his income AFTER tax would have dropped from multi 100,000s of pounds sterling per year to ZERO. The idea that because on earning in excess of whatever it was back then, say £300,000, were taxed so highly therefore he should just stop working entirely and have an income go from £300k + pa to zero pa, is the 'economics' of an idiot.

Sorry but that is simply absurd to me.

If I was on a tax bracket where I am working and giving away 98% of my money to the tax man, then I would go to my employer and for much less hours to go on a lower bracket.

Aint no way I will be wasting my time as a slave keeping only 2% of what I earn.

And that really is the point isn't it? No one in their right mind is gonna work with a marginal tax rate of 98%. Therefore, no one will put in the eyes or work hard and the Government won't get the tax anyway. There is a point where tax becomes a major hindrance to productivity, investment and business and I got a news flash for you. That rate is a lot less than 98%. For Business it's actually in the teens which is why most Governments are reducing corporate tax rates.
