To all the 'surprised' here. If you use an add blocker on the browser sw you use to view this site, then a consequence of that would be you will not see the adds that are placed on this site ;)

Strange old world isn't it where someone who is too dumb to own a computer and be on the net has in the past appeared by invitation on the BBC News, BBC Radio news, Newsnight, Channel 4 News , Watchdog and been quoted in countless other media outlets internationally from the FT through to the Wall Street Journal and much in between and been paid by the Telegraph newspaper in the UK to write about internet related issues. If only they could have got a real expert like yourself Paphitis ;)

People would have to have rocks in their head to take advice from you because adding a mere add blocker is NOT enough to protect yourself.

In fact, most of the add blockers have sweet heart deals with certain advertisers.

When I say all adds, I really mean all adds. Every single add there is, including social media and YouTube.

You stick to your mickey mouse add blockers.

BBC, newsnight, Wall Street journal are for the gullible and the novices.

Not even Get Real believed me when I told him I can do that, and yet, with a bit of nous, it's possible. I only leave some crumbs when necessary and am able to leave nothing behind when I want to.

You can throw Sir Tim Berners Lee in to you list of 'gullible novices' as well Paphitis, who publicly endorsed the campaign group that I was a founder member off. And Vint Cerf, who you have probably never even heard off, who did likewise and whom I was privileged to meet in person and have the opportunity to discuss things 'internet' with, a highlight of my life.

If you say so.

Never heard of him, and I don't get my expertise from any of the sources you mention. I am a bit more thorough and discerning than that. When I do things, I don't do them half baked either.

Someone who mentions an add blocker is a novice.
