It makes total sense that Brexiteers are about 13% less than those who did not vote for the Tories who run on the “Get Brexit Done” platform. This was not just every election. This was an election to vote for Brexit or not. If the Tories were not cowards and felt secure they can win another referendum on Brexit, they should have gone for it.

Never mind, because any new government in the future other than the Tories, there will be a new referendum proposed to rejoin the EU, because at the moment the majority is to remain as this election shows. Not sure Scotland and Northern Ireland is going to wait that long to rejoin the EU however, as they would want to get the fuck out of the Union as quickly as possible.

Kikapu, the BREXIT issue is now beyond doubt settled. It's no longer a debate.

Boris has a mandate. You know that!

Boris will have a mandate if he can get the Brexit negotiations as he wants it and that he can get them pass through the UK parliament.
The EU on the other hand does not need to go along with what Boris wants in the negotiations on Brexit.

Boris has a mandate to do as he likes and negotiate without his hands tied.

With a majority of 80 seats, the nonsense has ended for good and there is nothing the recalcitrant rebels can do about it.

If the EU play the same games as before, he can just go for a no deal Brexit as Parluanent will pass it anyway.

Guy Hafosfacked has accepted the reality and said the EU must accept the mandate and try and negotiate a FTD. That is the first time this idiot has spoken with any sense. Previously you can see him salivate at getting one over the Brits. Not anymore because Britain has them over the barrel now.

EU lost. I mean Germany lost again!

The Real World is savage eh Kikapu...?

How terrible it is that people don't vote like you in fair democratic elections!

I've been laughing my head off today, it is somewhat better than after the Brexit vote... There are so many fantastic stores and quotes but I think I can sum them up thus...

I am beginning to think that Multi is correct about your IQ being in the toilet. :D

Who ever said I do not agree with the Democratic processes or anyone is disputing Tories victory?

The question is that Brexit supporters are less than remainers, because Brexit supporters are represented by the Tories, and eventhough the Tories won the election, they have only received 43.6% of the total voters. If and when there is another referendum on the EU in the future, remain vote will be more again, even when Scotland has long left the Union.

You are the one who Is dragging this FFS!

Trump and Bush jr. both did not win the popular vote in recent elections. In the US system, one doesn’t need to for them to become a president. It appears, one doesn’t need to win the majority vote in the UK either. “Democracy” comes in different forms. The party which gets the majority vote doesn’t always win the election. It all depends how the voting system is “rigged” up!

Yes, Tories/Brexit won with the minority popular vote in the recent election and the majority non Brexiteers lost despite having the most popular votes!

Life goes on until the next election/referendum.

In the meantime, I will support Scotland and Northern Ireland to reach their own destiny outside the Union.....Democratically!

Well, 4 really. The referendum. The 2017 general election, when 85% voted for the 2 parties pledging to honour the referendum result (Labour lied). May’s elections to the European Parliament and last week’s effort, when I believe Johnson got a bigger share of the vote than Blair ever did.
