...what has torn us apart will be joined, in exactly the same way.

People, Lordo, the People have not yet spoken.

It takes a spark, one good motion, one reasoned act of kindness, (or a White Operation if you will) from a Cypriot of Turkish origin, for a fire to start; it is a matter of trust and respect, where there is a Cypriot way: and it is with this in mind they'll join, to rid themselves of "Them".

...i will continue to remind you that never less than half of the voting public vote as Cypriots/for Cyprus, having as a choice to vote otherwise; this over decades and unnaturally torn apart.

Do not despair dear friend.

The Greek Cypriots are not the only victims of Turkey’s aggressions in Cyprus, as Ankara is pursuing a cultural genocide campaign against the island’s Turkish community,

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan “poses a greater threat to Turkish Cypriots than the irredentist Greek junta did prior to 1974,” Rubin said in the National Interest on Sunday.

“The lasting damage, will not only be political and diplomatic but also cultural. Erdoğan’s policy now subordinates and suffocates the population whose protection was the justification for the Turkish invasion in the first place,” according to Rubin

Armed as it is, now makes it much clearer; their (his) intentions do not include Cypriot concerns.

Resist with both hands tied behind my back by the lovely GRoC RW. you need to wake up mate.

Embargoes have to go.
TCs are allowed to begin to survive without the need of Turkish Financial aid
The you will see the TCs resist.

While financial aid comes in very small percentage wil lresist. Not even a god bites the hand that feeds it.

You only have yourselves to blame for maintaining impossible and unacceptable negotiating positions and allowing Turkish settlers to occupy GC property.

The TC's will probably become a figment of the imagination within about one generations time but that wont stop Turkey using this identity as an excuse to maintain their illegal occupation of Cyprus.

Really Talat and Akinci had impossible and unacceptable positions especially when Anastasiades spoke about looser federation. You are one dumb fuck.

But looking out for rthe TCs is looking in the wrong direction. I would concentrate on what is going to happen to the GCs if I was you boy now what the hell have you done with tat blasted dummy.

...an interesting article. It recalls the facts which show how "Nationalism" became misplaced at the outset. While the "Greeks" have accepted their blame, the narrative that "Turks" are blameless should not be dismissed or forgotten.

I think you are confused. When did the "Greeks" stopped telling the old lies that 1963 was not about TCs rebelling for Taksim and they actually had a hand in starting the troubles?

Date, who said and what exactly?

I wish somebody had informed the media about this.

The only thing I have heard is Christofias admitting they were wromg top join Enosis Armed strguggle in 1964 against the TCs.

I think you are dreaming RW.

...more History.

...interestingly, an answer is provided as to why the Cypriot National Anthem is not sung.

And, as Cypriots, to end the misery of, "Greekness" or, "Turkishness", we must follow our own path, i'd like to say.
