I don’t know if Trump is a liar. Every businessman or politician is a liar. That’s the way it is.

First of all, your above statement is very contradictory to say the least about Trump. :D

Paphitis, you have very conveniently ignored RW’s points on Trumps failure on Climate Change, Global Warming, Environmental Protection, Covid-19, The 2020 Elections and the BIG lie, January 6th attack on the Capitol and then let me add one more, that Trump and the Banana Republican Party are against the Constitution and Democracy, especially when they lose an elections. Those who do not respect our US Constitution and the Democratic system, I do not consider them to be Americans at all no matter how much they rap themselves with the American flag. They are nothing but traitors to America and what America stands for. Another 4 years of Trump in the White House and it would have been very difficult to distinguish America to Russia, China, North Korea or Turkey, where the end would justify the means.

What do you want him to do about climate change? What can he do that isn’t already been done?

Why does it rest on him?

Oh I get it now! You wanted him to attend Paris. America was one of the countries that did not attend. Rightfully so as well.

AND, it wasn’t the only country to snub Paris.

Australia, Japan and Saudi Arabia did as well. Why?

Looking after their interests.

America and Australia would have been punished with draconian Bilbao emission targets almost destroying our economy. Yet China can pollute all it wants and pollutes a lot more than all of us put together.

No Kikapu. We don’t want to attend Paris. And that doesn’t mean we do nothing for the environment because we actually invest billions every year in renewables.

Abs now Biden said he will go. No worries Biden. Be that lap dog.

Australia, Japan and Saudi Arabia still not going.

Acknowledging the problem would have been a start. Ignoring renewal energy and saying noise from windmill causes cancer. Boy are you one fuckin dumb individual.

I’m sorry but need to make a correction. Australia said they will attend but won’t sign any agreement. Still refuses to ratify the first one because they don’t take it seriously. And for good reason too.

They take climate change seriously. Must do as 30% of our energy is renewable and increasing. Investing in Elon Musk super batteries too. Even though it’s just a stupid Elon Musk hair brain idea that isn’t even viable. Just makes good headlines. And probably even more dirty for the environment than coal.

Why? For a virtue signal? Is that what it’s about?

America being one of the biggest investors in renewables and renewable technology doesn’t carry enough weight for you?

Why must America attend a summit which endeavors to punish them the most? Why would Australia, Saudi Arabia want to attend or participate? Because we know they will point fingers at us as being the bad boys, yet China has a free licence to poison the world.

When they become serious, give us a call. Till then, fuck the Paris agreement.

It is not just the Paris agreement, Paphitis. The Republicans in general do not even believe in Climate Change and Global Warming. They just believe in QAnon conspiracy theories. All the good work that has been done to protect the environment in the USA has been mostly done under Democratic presidents. Trump was to allow drilling in the Alaskan Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Come on, what cunt does that? No regard to the pristine land and the wildlife which it is their home. Biden has reversed Trump. :D

When we had the big freeze recently in Texas, those brain dead Republicans down there took aim at the wind turbines being at fault for there not being enough electric power in the state and that renewal energy should be done away with. Stupid idiots is the nicest thing I can tell these brain dead fuckers. :D

...Trump will be with us for decades, perhaps long after he is dead; America is a litigious country, what is Justice seen will likely leave him, and his legacy, empty and pant-less.

If the elites of the Republican Party continue to demonstrate their support for him, they too will find elections "rigged" against them; the People will speak (again) in overwhelming numbers.

...let's not forget that America is a BBF, and being bicommunal, they may be "Democrat" or "Republican" as Persons, but above-all they are Americans as Individuals.

That’s a sweeping statement there Kikapu.

They say the same about our Liberals here in Australia. But the facts are, most of them do believe in climate change. Hence why both countries are allowing massive investment in renewables. We are among the most green economies today and in 2 to 3 decades, nearly all our energy will be renewable.

What we are not agreeing with are the fines and targets which are so draconian they have the potential to put hundreds of thousands of people out of work. We just want to do it in our time. Let renewables just take over which it eventually will. We are among the leaders of the pack today.

That’s what they want, however he is far too clever for most.

Hence he is made of Teflon. And secondly, there isn’t much to contest as his empire belongs to his children on paper. So it’s all safe.

People like Trump know how to look after their affairs. He probably just has his NYC apartment to his name. But more likely, even that is in his kids name. In other words, he might have nothing. The guy is skint.

Reuters
Analysis-With Trump gone, NATO wages war on climate threat

Sun, June 13, 2021, 8:04 AM
By Robin Emmott and Sabine Siebold

BRUSSELS/BERLIN (Reuters) - If the U.S. military were a nation state, it would be the world's 47th largest emitter of planet-warming greenhouse gases, a 2019 study found.

Though the British universities of Lancaster and Durham took account only of emissions from fuel usage in their study, it pointed to the huge impact that armed forces across the globe are having on the earth's climate.

Facing a battle against global warming, NATO has for the first time made it a central focus of planning and strategy.

Leaders of the Western military alliance are set on Monday to agree on a climate action plan to make their armed forces carbon-neutral by 2050, and to adapt to threats posed by global warming.

NATO diplomats say efforts to focus on climate change were stymied during Donald Trump's U.S. presidency. He called climate change a "hoax" and pulled the United States out of the international Paris Agreement to fight climate change.

Trump also expressed a lack of trust in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, and in 2018 threatened to withdraw the United States from the alliance formed in 1949 to contain a Soviet military threat.

Now, with U.S. President Joe Biden prioritising climate action, the diplomats said NATO was able to act on concerns that climate change is a threat both to transatlantic security and to alliance personnel.

I call fake!

I want evidence of him saying climate change is a hoax. I've never heard him say such a thing.
