Interesting excuse Krazi gave today about the mistake of introducing a 5% tax handout to the very rich. He claimed it was the death of the greatest Universal Claimant ever. Ironically of course it did not stop him from going to a party as soon as he finished his speech in the house of a financier who had shorted the pound before his speech.

While we are at it, as good as this excuse, one was offered by Patterson about why things were going so wrong with badger culling. He blamed the badger for moving the goal posts.

You have to laugh at them, otherwise you will end up crying.

It is comforting to know that our Leading Sow thinks the priority was Growth Growth Growth in the medium term. As if anybody is against growth. The issue is at what cost and at who's expense. She is about to announce cuts in services. It looks like an election come December if she continues with her mentality.

And there was me thinking the priority was "Cost of Living Crises" and how the poorest 10 million people are going to survive this winter with food and heating.

Interesting our chief Sow has decided to use the song "Move on up" in her entrance to conference speech without the permission of the band.

The band said:

The Manchester group's founder Mike Pickering said he hoped Ms Truss took note of the lyrics, as it was "about, 'go and pack your bags and get out'".

It can only happen in La La Land.

A policeman working for the diplomatic protection unit sets up a whatsapp group and spreads his racism. Clearly it has other members. He resigns from the police force and joins the home office immigration unit back in 2015. And only now it is discovered, and action is only taken against him. Why not all the other members, if for nothing else, seeing this information and not taking action.
Is that not dereliction of duty for a serving officer and is the crime lessened in any way if they are retired?

What a wonderful world we live in the La La Land.

The government is thinking of extending the guaranteed scheme for mortgages, but who are they guaranteeing exactly. Is it the person's home? Nope. You cannot make it up.

It is understood Kwasi Kwarteng is now considering extending the mortgage guarantee scheme beyond its December deadline.

The scheme gives banks and building societies the chance to buy a guarantee from the government on the slice of the mortgage between 80% and 95% of the property’s value. It means that if a borrower gets into financial difficulty and their property is repossessed, the government will cover that portion of the lender’s losses.

Considering they are asking for a deposit of 20% and probably charging the mortgagee for the fee for purchasing such a guarantee, it is a win win for the government and the lender. The only loser is the joe public. Let's hope after the next election they experience the Canada effect.

Very interesting indeed. The truth does eventually surface. It is not for nothing that the BBC is known as the British Bullshitting Corporation. Gold Standard indeed.
