I have a feeling the Ukraine business is not finished yet. The two areas they took last time is half taken. The rest of these two areas will be taken in the next few weeks and that will be that.
What exactly is there? Either it is oil or wheat.

Did the yanks and Leonid Kuchma not realise this would happen when they started the talks about Ukraine joining Nato?

Were they really that stupid?

No, Vladimir Putin isn’t another Adolf Hitler
http://cyprus-mail.com/2014/09/06/no-vl ... lf-hitler/

''...yes, one can "hope" that Putin can do better, for the lives of the dwellers on the land he grabs, than Turkey in Cyprus.
...Putin to me represents the biggest Capitalist supporter there is, I find it strange that he did not outright buy the Crimea, and whatever else he wants. It seems to me Russia has the money, and in the end, perhaps, in his new thinking something that can be emulated, rather than as it is perceived, plunder, having created so much enmity, no different to what occurred in the past elsewhere.
...it is Humanity which is at war with its worst parts, Russia is not placing itself toward that service. Putin may still represent its good parts, or even its best qualities, because he has the power to do so. But, like all of us he must change himself in confronting his own fears. Let's face it, he is part of the 1%, (or wants to be), where the rest of us are the 99%. What of his legacy in Russia, or the "new" Capitalism he spawned, it is moments like these that are so filled with irony, where the revolution Marx predicted as inevitable could happen, when "we" realise who the "them" are, quite clearly, and act accordingly.''

...someone reading my blog today, read this.

cheers.

As someone who is sick and tired of paying inflated prices for pretty much everything; thanks to Ukrainian NATO antics, I hope Russia fucks them up very quickly so we can all get back to normality asap.

The sooner Russia dismantles these shit stirring punks and takes over this territory, the sooner we’ll return to normality!

States that don’t appreciate their independence and insist on playing NATO games should be put right back into the USSR and forget about independence!

Then, you are a supporter of big fish eat little fish and as a result, if the EU or Europe think along those lines, they deserve no security or peace. You will inherit war as Russia won’t stop with each little step. The steps will get larger and larger each time. So who is after Ukraine? Is it some former USSR Baltic states? Poland? Hungary?

Now that would most certainly put NATO in a difficult position. Does NATO choose war or diplomacy?

What happens if lets say the Russians lose their bases in Syria? Invade Cyprus? In such a hypothetical situation, NATO is under no obligation to Cyprus but only to the British SBAs which are considered British Territory.

You know very well this has nothing to do with what’s fair or international law.
