I don’t think Paphitis being away for couple of weeks being anything more than perhaps him being on vacation.

Having said that, personally speaking, Paphitis should not invest so much time with the intensity he has been doing on the Ukraine issue thread. I think it is a total distraction to his profession which requires intense concentration to be safe. It is very easy to get sidetracked thinking of conversations on this thread that might cause him to be forgetful on what he needs to be doing on his job by being preoccupied with bullshit!

How do you see an individual that view's a critical post about a political party or the establishment of a country as a attack on that country?

I say he is a fascist. Am I right?

You have lost me! What does that have to do with Ukraine?

There is a lot more than just that which would define a Fascist. Give me simple example and I am willing at least pass an opinion. He/she could also be a Patriot? :?:

No! I always read the posts. I even look at some of the links and videos. In fact - and not many people know this - I have campaign medals for GR's zillion Telegram efforts and being the main responder to Lordo in the La La wasteland.

Pyro said some time ago that there's no room for discussion when it comes to the Ukraine war. It's one of the few things I've agreed with him about.

And hey. Sulk? You're the one who disappeared for 2 years.

I don't miss the lunatic, or the Nato cheerleader, and if you think there are better forums, go there.

It seems you're bent upon turning the forum into a very small group of like-minded people. With the possible exception of RW that is.

As far as there being better forums and leaving, IIRC it was your good self who did so, proclaiming the attributes and lack of moderation (not that it's a problem here) of Reddit once.
:o
It's not enough keeping notes of everything everyone says in here, if you can't use them correctly. No I never did that.

It all sounds a bit like the situation RH was descrjbing.

I also said it's about providing information. Look how much info RH provided in a single post. Tons of.

Rejecting information that don't suit your perception, while nor resisting to Pahitis' fantasy stories, speaks volumes about you.

Neither yourself, Kicks, newly returned RH or even the forum Outlander Lordo, have a modicum of interest in any "information" I might provide on this thread. Nor, in your case, idea of what I might reject - or not.

As far as Paphitis goes, I admire his tenacity. That, without necessarily subscribing to all his views. I do enjoy the - optimistic - manner he presents them in.

I've always said I expected Russia to win this conflict. Since the beginning Putin has clearly been all-in and the cost irrelevant. Although, what "win" means nowadays - given the disastrous consequences of this war for absolutely everybody on the planet - is anybody's guess.

FWIW, I don't keep "notes" on everything that transpires on this small forum. It's memory - which of course is fallible. Although, another recollection I hold is of you saying something along the lines of this forum not being able to survive with less than 10 members (too late!) and personal abuse, trolling, etc, etc, was the "oxygen" that kept it alive. IMHO, an appalling attitude. It's perfectly possible to have an interesting venue like this without the bully boy vilification you seem to delight in. Your routine campaign to discredit members who don't toe your particular line bears witness to that. You are someone who, it comes across to me, would regard the destruction of the forum as some sort of personal victory.

Nighty night.
