PJ Proby with Led Zeppelin? I never thought I’d see that! :)

The only PJ Proby song I ever knew was his unique rendition of “Somewhere”.

This was recorded literally the days Led Zepp was formed and before they did their first album so they were unknown as a group, although Jimmy page was known for his session work in recording studios.

This one Jimmy Page was in the studio and recorded but not planned. Just a happy lucky moment.

Brenda Lee with Jimmy Page playing.

You still working past 75 Lordo?

And don’t tell me you’re younger than that because your knowledge and taste in music is a dead giveaway! :)

Noooooooo I feel like a 25 year old but I can't have one.

I am very lucky in my work. I enjoyed working before I retired and I was self employed for 10 years. So it is natural to pick and choose when to work in retirement especially as 99% of my work is on line and working from home. Add to that I can do it from anywhere with wifi and why would I want to stop?

This one is for all those lovely ladies around that keep us going.

Rendezvous tomorrow evening at the AlphaMega stadium in Limassol to watch...

Harry Kane, who captains the England national team and is the Premier League's second-highest all-time goalscorer (after Alan Shearer) and currently the major striker of Bayern Munich

...stuffing the Paphian net with goals!

But does Paphos have a secret weapon to counter him? :?

They do indeed in the form of David Luiz... one of the greatest centre-backs of all time!

That’s what most people would imagine will happen... but I have faith in Paphos’ solid defence to limit the loss to a more respectable level, so I'm predicting a 1-3.

Good luck to my fellow Cypriots and I hope they beat the Germans.

Yeah, that’s the funny part as there are only two Cypriots in the entire squad; one of which is the 2nd goalie and won’t be playing!

So much for a “Cypriot” team eh... :)

Alright boys & girls, so tonight’s the night at 10:00pm Cyprus time, and I’ll be watching it on Cytavision Sports5 HD.

I'll be back with a little banter post-match.
