Be aware that estate agents exist to sell property; that's how they make their money. Of course a Protaras estate agent agent will tell you the area's due for a property boom. A Paphos estate agent will say the same thing about Paphos, a Limassol estate agent will say the same thing of Limassol.
In my experience, most estate agents speak through an oriface that's normally reserved for another purpose and they're excellent at spotting naive buyers who will swallow their stories hook, line & sinker.
Do your own independent reseach and don't believe the marketing hype.
