Saravacos , you are absolutely right about this bloody goverment.Only last week Gordon Brown in Mozambique promised a staggering £8 billion aid to Africa , in the same week that it was announced that our National Health Service was £750m in the red. In the same week that an English woman had to go to court to force the NHS to fork out the money for the "miracle drug Herceptin " in her battle against cancer. The world famous Royal Marsden , a cancer hospital recently finished fund raising the significant sum of £6m , and this bloody idiot , without our concent, gives away £8 billion. For those of you who think that Africa is a deserving cause let me tell you that corruption would scarcely be present if benevolent western money had not poured in to Africa.
That same week incidentaly a white English kid was taken to juvenile court
for calling another boy a Paki !!!

it makes me sick...if you dont have private health care your f*cked. the NHS has gone down the sh*tter.

and also, when our parents came to this country they integrated with the english community and worked their asses off. nowadays there are so many immigrants who just sponge off of benefits, not to mention the lazy brits who do the same thing.

in the last 10yrs this country has really gone downhill

Wife of Macwomble here..... I just wanted to add a little something to what has obviously become a heated debate. I have never set foot outside the UK for many reasons in my 38 years, but I am moving to Cyprus very soon because my husband has a job there.

I have been told many many times that Cyprus is a beautiful and very friendly place, and I do still truly believe this.

As a Scot living in Scotland, I have experienced more racism and lack of understanding of other religions, cultures and colours for that matter, than I care to properly remember. And it has always bothered me. I believe in a live and let live attitude. Be nice to others if you want them to be nice to you etc.

I cannot even walk out my own front door without experiencing lack of respect, as many of the children around my area have never been taught to respect elders or personal property or the like, I was bullied at school for many years by my so called peers, and therefore know a lot of what people here are saying about feeling like outsiders in their own country. But none of that has changed how I feel. I still think people should be treated as you would like to be treated yourself.

Absolutely agree and I admire you for sticking to this.

I believe 99% of people are decent and respectful of others. We shouldn't let the few that are not influence the rest of us.

By the way - if you registered your own name you could be MacMadame Cholet!!

Have you thought of the fact that we might not be able to tell you our opinions because we know nothing about it?
