Julie, thanks. Thats good to hear that the Nags Head is still there, I had many a breakfast, lunch and dinner in there last year. Its just a shame that Thomsons are going to be sending us to Paphos this year now!!!

Thanks for that Julie. Nice to know some familiar haunts are still around! But I must get round to trying some new places next time I am over there!

Where have Thompsons people been moved to ?

Postby mummieslittlemunchkins » Mon Jul 16, 2007 8:00 am

Just wondered where the majority of people with young children had been moved to who are travelling with "Thompsons" ?

Wed paid £620 off our own backs to move to the Phaefeon Beach in Pafos, but I am glad to say a few days ago we finally got our £620 back with a battle through our travel law solicititor.

Where have you all been moved to ??

Regards

We are with First Choice not Thompsons but we have decided to stick with the Miramare. First choice would not give in and we did not want to pay any more money either. Although the First Choice web site says it is "Best for Adults", the Miramare's own website (not Atlantica's) makes it look quite good for children, including kids pool, kids corner, children's menu etc. And it has it's own private beach. It might not be quite as good for children as the Oasis but it still looks very nice.

We have booked with Thomsons and we are still waiting to find out where we will be going to. Have rung every day for the last week only to be told that they are still processing everyone's details. We are not going until August 15th so we are probably a little way down the priority list. Would still be good to know though. We have been told it is likely to be Paphos though, not Limassol.

If we are asked to pay more I will definitely be on to you Mummieslittlemunchkins to find out all about your travel lawyer!!

I booked with Olympic Holidays. And I was given a choice of money back, the Miramare or Poseidonia Beach Hotel, (both better quality). We chose Poseidonia for our kids.
