Look at the graphs. Try and understand them. Some countries governments ARE and HAVE made a difference by their actions. The USA is NOT ONE OF THEM yet.

USA is on the exponential line like every other country is apart from a select few. Australia is also on the same line until 4 days ago. All the EU is on the same line and worse.

Why is that Trump's fault?

If it's Trump's fault, then it's also the EU's fault.

Correct. Places that have done better are clearly shown on the graph. US is not one of them and EU is not one of them. China is. Do not like or trust china's figures. OK look at South Korea. They are doing better because their leaders did better. Better than EU has done to date and better than US has done to date. You claimed 'there was nothing Trump could have done'. The data says otherwise. It is likely that the USA will be one of the LAST countries to buck the curve but time will tell. What is a just a clear reality is that Trump could have done much better. He could have achieved what South Korea has. Instead he went around saying and doing things for 2 months that were the opposite of what places like South Korea were doing. The American people are paying the price.

that is if you believe the statistics, which I don't. One of those countries is China and we are not going to go down that road or shut down the country completely and kill off the economy completely.

All this stuff is beyond the control of most countries. I am not going to point a finger at Italy's or Spain's Leadership and blame them for anything, and I will not be blaming Trump either. The poor buggers are just victims themselves to a pandemic.

I am more inclined to point the finger at China.

What the data shows to me is that all countries will eventually dip below the exponential line. Some earlier than others.

For instance, Australia looks like it might be doing this now with exactly the same response as the USA. It's just a case of hanging in there for now. Our kids are still going to school and people are still going to work (in the most part) and the ideology behind that is that there has to be an economy afterwards otherwise the China Virus has defeated us.

South Korea has done and is doing better than elsewhere. Explain that in terms other than their leadership reacted faster and better than other countries.

Of course you are because you are an ideologue

How quickly and how governments act can and do determine how soon you come of the exponential vs doing nothing. Nothing Trump and most other countries to date have done have achieved that yet. South Korea HAS achieved it. If Trump or Eu or UK had copied South Korea then all and any of them would be showing signs of coming of the exponential. You have not even watched the video properly or comprehended as proven by you giving your Australia '4 day' example. Such short time spans are dealt with and explained explicitly in the video and why such short time spans have been 'smooth out' and why that is a good thing, because without doing that idiots like you jump to all the wrong conclusions. The video explains all this. Clue for the clueless 5:45

And I am sure everyone is looking at what South Korea is doing. Singapore is another country that has it under control and they never closed schools, hadn't had widespread isolation and they didn't shut their economy. That's the model we are following.

i point the finger at China because the virus started there and the repercussions could be widespread and our interaction with them needs to be addressed, especially the way we have shifted our industrial and manufacturing output there.

The USA was one of the first countries to close its borders to Shengen countries and some other China Virus hotspots. Australia did it 3 days after them.

And these actions have made no impact on getting them off the exponential so far, as the data shows us. Lots of things that South Korea has done that USA and Australia have yet to do to a degree that is moving them off the curve have got South Korea off that curve.

No one really knows what the impact of various actions are going to be.

Spain and Italy have the most draconian measures (which is understandable) and even that has no impact, whilst other countries like Australia and Singapore could just get lucky with measures that are a lot more relaxed than Italy and Spain.

The response by the USA, Singapore and USA addresses the economic aspects of the problem which the rest have chosen to ignore so only time will tell who is right.

A perfect illustration of how idiocy kills. That you hold up Singapore (basically a city) as another example that is doing well like South Korea is just shows your inability to understand data properly. From John Hopkins data here is the graph for Singapore.

Here is south korea.

Some people can analyse data, even when partial, free from ideology and political self interest and some people can not. Those that can not, but think they can better than anyone and who spend much time telling everyone they can better than anyone else (I have a hunch , that's all it is, a hunch, I am a clever guy) can and do get people killed.

It isn't the complete picture other than show the US is on the exponential curve. they are still miles behind the EU.

So blame the EU instead which is well and truly out of control. US has a long way to go to reach the level of Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Portugal and Norway.

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

So clearly, USA might be doing a lot better all those countries.

I have proven that you clearly CAN'T analyse any data and are just looking at an opportunity to say "Orange Man Bad". See my previous post.

You just show how you can watch the video RW posted (though you probably did not did you ?), boast about how you 'knew all that already' because you 'dont believe the BS from MSM' , and yet have not understood ANYTHING that the video so clear shows and explains.
