''The marbles on the floor were broken''

https://orthodoxtimes.com/new-vandalism ... re-broken/

The Turkish tour guide claims according to Cumhuriyet that: “When Hagia Sophia was a museum, visits were carried out with great respect. These days its interior looks like a funfair”.

...it pains me to write that this is so (this is not the first time); i would have thought Erdogan's Turkey would do better with this Holy site now that it is "theirs": but no, i was wrong.

...meanwhile,

..."donations" will now be mandatory i suppose; reserve early, (with amenities,) "they" have high expectations that this will become a (most profitable) tourist hotspot.

There will be no quiet sleep anymore before walking back from where you came from.

This is the consequences of the lack of effort for peace on the side of the GC establishment. We have had Talat and Akinci both ready to sign a peace deal and both thwarted by first Papadopoullos and then Akel's Christofias and finally Annastasiades.

What does anybody expect from ow on?

The Yanks are not worried about what Erdogan does to the Turkish population particularly to the Kurds and Socialists but are worried because:
1. Erdogan is too close to Putin
2. He bought missiles from Russia
3. Blocking the acceptance of new members.

I certainly do not support Erdogan on the grounds of what he does to the Turkish population and Nato and the rest of financial world can go fuck themselves.

What is also very interesting is the name of the individual reporting. Let me break it down for you

Stavros Atlamaz oglou
Atlamaz - does not jump
Oglou - son of

Clearly a Greek name going back to the ottoman times. I wonder if he is aware what his surname means. I met an individual who's name was Mertoglou and she did not have a clue what her name meant or where it came from.
