We get your drift Max… but the street punks of the left were smart enough to only damage lots of private property, while the street punks of the right did that and invaded/occupied a government building to disrupt an important political process, and in the process they also looted stuff so… it triggered a whole new bunch of laws against them.

But anyway, with more time on his hands your hero will now hopefully set up a televangelist-type of organization for cult followers, and you and Paphitis can apply for lifetime memberships and send your donations. 8)

As for the sane 50% of America, they’ll hopefully tackle Covid with the seriousness it deserves, repair broken trade relations and I don’t know what else is in the top priorities list.

...context is important Max; i get your drift.

And on this topic your voice is appreciated. Americans, one hopes will focus on America, not as "Republicans" vs "Democrats", but as Americans.

I think so

what I might add is that the punks on the left also damaged lots of government property and innocent people's too.

It is just that the democratic officials looked the other way while it was happening.

They would rather help them by trying to defund the police.

it dont think so,

the republicans have boiled over and the dems are probably going to sink to greater depths of ideological idiocy now that they have the reigns.

not a good combination

Unfortunately you’re being deceptive again Max… because lots of the punks you mention were arrested and some still serving sentences, and I don’t have the time to go over each and every incident to prove it to you.

The root of the problem is that you are sore because your favorite political party has screwed itself proper; severely weakened in every avenue, and no doubt you’ve realized that it’ll take ages for it to recover.

But you can only blame them for hiring a narcissistic TV prima donna to represent them in 2016… and that’s when the downfall began.

Trump is said to be not happy that this impeachment comes so close to ending his Presidential term on the 20th as he was hoping for hat-trick impeachments in a single term if he had more time!

House Democrats Introduce Article Of Impeachment Against Donald Trump

Ryan Grenoble·National Reporter, HuffPost
Mon, January 11, 2021, 5:32 PM GMT+1

House Democrats introduced an article of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Monday for “incitement of insurrection,” in the wake of last week’s deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) told Punchbowl News he expects a vote on the article could come as early as Wednesday, with the goal of beginning Senate discussions as soon as possible.

The four-page resolution notes Trump’s direct responsibility for inciting a seditious mob that proceeded to violently overwhelm the Capitol and “interfere with the Joint Session’s solemn constitutional duty to certify the results of the 2020 Presidential election.”

Trump’s Jan. 2 phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger ― where the president encouraged Raffensperger to “find” enough votes for him to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s victory there ― also earns a mention, as do Trump’s repeated false claims that he rightfully won the 2020 presidential race.

“In all this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of Government,” the resolution reads. “He threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch of Government. He thereby betrayed his trust as President, to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.”

“Donald John Trump, by such conduct, has demonstrated that he will remain a threat to national security, democracy, and the Constitution if allowed to remain in office,” it says.
