With a week to go - and Trump clearly having his tail between his legs - it all seems a bit like, wait for it, "theatrics". :D

I would have thought, better to let the man fade away, rather than keep kicking the ashes and winding up his supporters. :?

This video will do to trash Trump and his enablers until Bill Maher returns back this Friday. :D

The Republicans who told the truth about Trump in 2016 then to become Trump’s biggest ass lickers after drinking the Trump Kool-Aid!

Hats off to Republican senator Mitt Romney who stood by his convictions all the way through on Trump. :D

I don’t think it has anything to do with theatrics and more to do with setting precedent for future cunts who would want to follow Trump’s footsteps.

As for Winding up Trump’s supporters, too bad, because if they believed in the constitution and democracy, they would have been first to hang Trump by the balls.

The danger seems to me, instead of the man disappearing into obscurity, the desire for “revenge” will just create a Martyr figure and exacerbate the current clear rift in US society. Making a rod for.........

Opinion on social media, in my experience, no matter how overwhelming and compelling, is seldom a true reflection of that in the wider world.

If Biden screws it up all this could come back from the grave. Probably big time.

That’s the point LR, that by no action taken against Trump for at the very least for violating his oath to the constitution, would only embolden him to come back and do more damage at later date. Republican Party in the long run will benefit from Trump being put out to pasture now by rendering him insignificant to the party, regardless Trump still having a base in the immediate future. The Republican Party is damaged goods at the moment and will take a long time to recover, and if Trump remains the face of the RP, it will take much much longer for the party to regain their significance in American politics.

Trump has been the best thing that has happened to the Democratic Party in a very long time, but the DP would also need to follow the constitution and impeach Trump for his treacherous actions at any cost, and I believe the Republicans will join the Democrats to deal Trump the fatal political blow to ban him for life from any political office in the future. They will deal with Trump’s children should they decide to enter politics at later stage. They too have some blood on their hands and statements made by them are on record.

McConnell has moved against him now. Followed possibly by a lot more than the necessary 17 GOP Senators.

How do you like your duck?

McConnell understands which way the political wind blows and for the RP to remain significant, they need to cook Trump’s goose (duck)!

Well done, I would imagine! :D
