All of you guys are delusional! First up, the impeachment is pointless. The Senate doesn’t sit till the 19th and proceedings take well over a day with senators philabustering.

The next day, Trump is no longer POTUS, so the proceedings stop.

After the 20th they have to take Trump on in the courts and a Federal Court will not convict because:
a) the evidence put forward that he indeed incite the incident is shaken at best, and
b) the evidence that he didn’t and actively discouraged the riot is VERY Strong and unequivocal.

Secondly, the 25tg amendment can’t be invoked because the only time it can be is by a VP and only when the POTUS becomes medically unfit or incapable to execute their duties. Trump is in good health and is fit.

So you guys live clasping at straws.

Now, you know what’s going to happen next don’t you.

We will be seeing you fascists at the 2024 ballot, bitches! :D

And even if it isn’t Trump, it will be Trump Jr, Ivanka or Tucker Carlson scumbags.

Now, I think Biden should concentrate on the job ahead of him. There are a lot of preparations in order to start a war and that is your only chance. So, event menu mint now, pick a country and blow them to smithereens with a cruise missile attack,

As I understand it, if Trump’s impeached and the Senate vote 70% in favour at the subsequent trial he will never be allowed to stand for office again. That’s a lot of votes though and despite some high profile Republicans declaring support the result isn’t a forgone conclusion.

Although Trump’s getting all the coverage I’m personally concerned (and always have been) about Biden. I simply don’t think he’s up to the job. That in normal times, let alone with a pandemic raging and potential widespread civil disruption brewing. I hope I’m wrong.

There are a few world leaders - who have no concerns about petty things like elections - that must be laughing their socks off right now. At least Trump, unlike Biden, wasn’t a person you’d tend to be tempted to try your luck with.

And my understanding is, once the senate trial of Trump’s impeachment brought by the House passes in the Senate by 2/3rd (67 votes), then another vote will be taken by the senate to ban Trump from holding elected office ever again, which would only need a simple majority to pass in that order.

Biden has been around for long time and he knows how the world’s diplomacy works, so don’t expect him to be an easy pushover.

You need to get the 67% first which is almost impossible!

It’s an act of desperation to sideline the next POTUS in 2024 but it won’t work.

Biden is going to be a total disaster.

For a start, one impeachment gives a bad reflection on any president’s legacy. Two impeachments leaves the legacy of that President in the sewer as being the worst of all times, which no president would want to be written in history books and for those Trump supporters who can’t read, to be seen on YouTube for eternity.

It doesn’t because it’s on the public record as to EXACTLY what Trump said. There is no clear evidence of incitement.

So the impeachment basically highlights the corruption of the Democrats and of politics in America generally which is ideal fertile ground for Trump to make a come back.

This is more a reflection on the racist Democrats more than anything.

But if fir argument sake he is sidelined, his family won’t be and revenge will be round the corner and it will be very sweet.
