Did you say you .....fly planes ???

You bet your bottom dollar I fly planes.

I have just checked into a Sydney hotel after my 2 sectors today as well. A whole 2 hours of flying. 2.2 exactly. I’m so tired. Pushing a few buttons takes it out of me these days.

No holding and no speed restrictions either. Only 2 planes in the MEPIL 3 STAR

C'mon, be fair. He might be the one that's vandalizing the suitcases (which is hard work presumably).

It’s time I spilled the beans... :?

Paphitis is a highly-trained anti-narcotics dog which spends most days sniffing out drugs in suitcases as they move along conveyor belts. 8)

His contribution to his country is enormous so I won’t have you bad-mouthing him!

There’s a good boy... Paphitis! :D

Oh and to answer the question… how come a dog is a member of a forum?

It’s his handler doing the talking on his behalf, dumbo!

The hardest but about my day today is that on engine start I had an over temp on the number 2 engine for 1 second which necessitated a fuel cut off. Tried again and had another over temp. Then had to wait 5 minutes for the turbine to cool down, tried again and another over temp.

The danger here is that if the over temp goes for more than 3 seconds you cook the turbine. The engine has to be removed and reconditioned costing a few million. So had to wait for an engineer to come. In the end, another plane was flown from Canberra so that the engineers can do an engine change tomorrow. Spent a couple of hours in the lounge. Pity I couldn’t have any alcohol. :(

Friggin exhausted. Got to put my head on the pillow.

And the problem? Probably the turbine inlet temperature probe.

By the way, will I have your ....esteemed support at the forthcoming Cyprus elections? On the other hand best not to, you always appear to back losers  :)

If you had one of these point-gap gauges, you could have fixed the problem yourself.
