So all they can come up with is exchange 50 refugees each week. How the hell is this going to stop the gangs from making a killing. In any case , if 80% of the arrivals in small boats are given refugee states surely it makes sense to open a a centre just like we did for the Ukrainians in France or even North Africa so people can apply for asylum before they come. That will certainly kill the business model of the gangs.
