You stupid cunt, at least learn something about how Taliban came to be before you open your stupid big gob and make a fool of yourself. Here is a photo of Afghani girls till end of 80s till USA decided they did not want a socialist government there and they so they financed, armed and trained what used to be called Mujahiddin which was Taliban with no thought as to what they would do once in power.

Fucking hell man you really that stupid.

Add to that all the time they were fighting them in the last 20 years, they had Pakistan arming and training them and Qatar which allowed the Taliban government in exile on their soil whilst they were allies of the USA.

Piss off will you.

Err the Taliban were a splinter group from the Mujahideen and Northern Alliance and ended up opposing the Mujahideen and Northern Alliance for control of Afghanistan.

The US funded, the Northern Alliance. Hopefully, the US will be funding and supporting the Northern Alliance once again, as there is some noise that they are reforming their rebel operations in rural Afghanistan and I don’t know if it is true, but there are insinuations and claims that the Northern Alliance are protecting senior members of the Afghan Government Cabinet, including the Deputy Prime Minister who did not flee Afghanistan.

No one knows how big or powerful they are or whether it’s feasible for them to counter the Taliban just yet, but in the old days the US did fund them against the Soviet Union and the Northern Alliance was more than capable of fighting the Soviet Union as an effective and organised rebel force, backed by the Americans.

They are Afghanistan’s only hope yet again.

I hope the Americans are monitoring a very fluid situation, but going by the events of the last week or so, no ally to America can feel comfortable that the Americans actually have anything under control atm or are monitoring, planning or doing anything at all that is remotely constructive.

The Mujahideen and Northern Alliance are not allies or friends. Quite the opposite.

There is no doubt though that over the decades, the Soviet Union/Russia and America used the Afghans as proxies to fight each other, just like they did in Vietnam, and screwed the country right up and it never recovered since.

And it would have been a nice change to actually do something right for a change and help these people try and build.

No question that the Soviet Union and America screwed them in the Cold War. Afghanistan was the Soviet Unions Vietnam. We did to them what they did to us in Vietnam and so it goes on and on.

This is very interesting, as the cities are showing opposition to taliba in their demonstrations and now this.

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/friday-evening-uk-news-briefing-son-of-legendary-afghan-commander-vows-to-resist-taliban/ar-AANy7iq?ocid=entnewsntp

Son of warlord vows to resist Taliban
He is the son of a legendary Afghan warlord who dreams of peace and of one day becoming a physics teacher.

For now Ahmad Massoud is holed up in a remote Afghan valley, with four helicopters, a few hundred soldiers and a handful of figures from an exiled government on a mission to resist the Taliban – and perhaps live up to his warrior father, the Lion of Panjshir.

The UK-educated 32-year-old has given his first interview since the Taliban overran Afghanistan, speaking to the Telegraph and another journalist on a patchy WhatsApp call from the Panjshir Valley – a narrow corridor of land 100 miles north of Kabul leading into the Hindu Kush mountain range.

And of course if Dostum decides to join him, they may do the same as last time where Taliban was not allowed in the northern region.

Time will tell.

It seems the Yanks believed the Afghan military when they claimed that their army was 300,000 stron. When in reality they were no more 50,000 and the rest were ghosts soldiers where the commanders simply pocketted their pay.

So the Yanks truly built a house of cards overe there and even managed to foll themselves

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/news/biden-s-claim-of-afghan-army-size-discredited-by-newsnight-host/vi-AANwG6x?ocid=entnewsntp

As if this was not enough, the army commanders did not even pay the real soldiers that they had too.

And now Nato threatening Taliban not to harbour terrorists.

You cannot make it up.
