Judging from the fact that he assesses the situation based on main roads proves he doesn't know a thing. In a battle situation one must be dumb to use main roads that are within range of opponent's artillery...
Even if the Russians eventually capture the whole area, be sure the Ukrainians would have blown up the intersections before retreating.

...isn't it what the Russians are doing; 40 mile long columns etc?

...we were also speaking of the seasons; the land up until recently did not allow for tank movements favorably.

In any case, the map, and its changing situation tells us where the fighting is taking place, strategically speaking; guess for yourself what happens next, i suggest.

That's also a possibility assuming somebody reported them to the Admin. I wonder who might that be...

Anyway, among the people left in here, most would be better off in social media imo. Forums are destined to death because they have an owner. On the other hand Usenet "newsgroups" which are relics of the 80s, before the WWWeb even existed, using text only communication, may survive for eternity as long as someone is posting. Those groups started with no owner or moderator.

That was not within range of opponent's artillery or airforce. Or else they would all be destroyed

True.

Bilohorivka school bombing

Not even 2 days have passed and someone already made a wiki entry.
Initially there were presumably 2 dead. Then the number increased to 30. Then to 60. Then to 90.
Follow the links to watch the numbers growing. In the meantime absolutely no dead people shown in any video and absolutely no video testimony from any of the alleged survivors.

And here the headmaster talks only of material damage...

Fellas, all is well and thanks for caring.

I took some time off to get some things done since we had so much disruption lately and the thread’s “tempo” was lost so to speak, thanks to the resident obnoxious troll.

As for the whereabouts of the stupid troll, once his imaginary “rights” to insult and provoke me were brutally taken away in the only language he understands, he obviously had no more reason to stick around for he was never interested in the Ukraine war anyway… that much you should’ve all figured out yourselves!

Some narcissistic idiots seem to think they have a monopoly in dishing out insults and provocations, and then when you take them on and beat them at their own game they cry foul and run off to their lawyer like a little girl thinking they can sue an alias, or that some feeble civil lawsuit can grant them access to people’s personal details! Such is their selfishness, immaturity and utter stupidity!

Anyway, after all that bollocks I’m not so sure I want to get back into it all because; as explained before, it takes a lot of research and typing to contribute relevant posts to a political thread, and in the absence of a forum moderator there’s no guarantee that we won’t have any further malicious disruptions.

Thus, the bottom line for me now is… who needs all this shit and what’s in it for the main contributors?

I read my news from 20 odd sources daily anyway, but do I also need to pass such info on to others in the hope of having some level of civilized debate/discussion?

Well, with trolls lurking in a un-moderated forum, it seems to be wishful thinking unfortunately, if the latest forum debacle is anything to go by!

So I have to conclude that we cannot have peace and quiet without an Admin present to put trolls in their place early on, like he used to.

Which brings me to the mystery of the missing forum Admin who seems to have vanished for over a year now!

I don’t know why and am wondering… is it an illness? Is he still alive and well? I certainly hope so, but from what I can see this website is due to expire mid September.

He may of course be OK and just lost interest, and he may still renew this website for another year but I think it would be a mistake to renew it without making someone a “deputy” to ban idiots who cause problems.

So if you can read this message dear Admin and you don’t want to do the policing yourself anymore for whatever reason, then please consider making someone a “deputy” so that users here are not left exposed to trolls… thanks.

Alright, that’s all from me fellas, for now.

...sharing is appreciated; all our perspectives are more rounded as a result.

...if your tata is until the next time, GR, you are no better than Milti by your own standards.

...come and go as you please, this is not a job; i write everyday for Cyprus: and this Forum is unique, or is there another one like it (as in the good ol' days).

(for me it is a Patriotic duty, knowing this, which i cannot ignore.)
