I took some time off to get some things done since we had so much disruption lately and the thread’s “tempo” was lost so to speak, thanks to the resident obnoxious troll.

As for the whereabouts of the stupid troll, once his imaginary “rights” to insult and provoke me were brutally taken away in the only language he understands, he obviously had no more reason to stick around for he was never interested in the Ukraine war anyway… that much you should’ve all figured out yourselves!

Some narcissistic idiots seem to think they have a monopoly in dishing out insults and provocations, and then when you take them on and beat them at their own game they cry foul and run off to their lawyer like a little girl thinking they can sue an alias, or that some feeble civil lawsuit can grant them access to people’s personal details! Such is their selfishness, immaturity and utter stupidity!

Anyway, after all that bollocks I’m not so sure I want to get back into it all because; as explained before, it takes a lot of research and typing to contribute relevant posts to a political thread, and in the absence of a forum moderator there’s no guarantee that we won’t have any further malicious disruptions.

Thus, the bottom line for me now is… who needs all this shit and what’s in it for the main contributors?

Which brings me to the mystery of the missing forum Admin who seems to have vanished for over a year now!

I don’t know why and am wondering… is it an illness? Is he still alive and well? I certainly hope so, but from what I can see this website is due to expire mid September.

It seems it has some relation with many other "Cyprus" sites like Cyprus Tourism, Cyprus Weather etc, so maybe it won't close.

He may of course be OK and just lost interest, and he may still renew this website for another year but I think it would be a mistake to renew it without making someone a “deputy” to ban idiots who cause problems.

So if you can read this message dear Admin and you don’t want to do the policing yourself anymore for whatever reason, then please consider making someone a “deputy” so that users here are not left exposed to trolls… thanks.

...it depends on who you are writing for. You could have ignored him; he would only be demeaning himself. All that energy that you placed on insulting him implies that your motives are as basic as his; that is something to think about.

Long ago GR, you impressed me, and you earned that respect with the same focus as i have, to live in a Cyprus that is Free. What changed; have you given up, are you unprepared to fight the Problem any more?

...I/i just wish that milti does what he does best and enjoy himself (now that he is retired), regale us with his adventures. I would suggest he take his car, (attach a Flag of Cyprus to it) and drive right around the island; there are a ton of stories and good times there, the ultimate tourist looking for other Cypriots, in Cyprus. He could even make a youtube channel, "Looking for Cypriots"; i bet it could even be monetised, (knowing milti) visiting so many cafes along the way.

Better for everyone, despite our differences, if we work as Cypriots do or did before this (read: "this") mythic reality was set upon us.
