There is actually a definition of mass shooting.

Killing one person by a gun is murder and not categorized as a mass shooting.

Your statistics are false and propaganda.

Mass shooting is more properly defined as mass murder. 1 dead is not a mass shooting even if their were other injuries as a result which could be car accidents, or people falling over in the ensuing chaos afterwards.

actually here is the definition of mass shooting.

mass shooting is an event involving the shooting (not necessarily resulting in death) of five or more people (sometimes four) with no cooling-off period.

you like grumpy is confusing the word shooting with killing. the two don't mean the same. the figures i quoted have at least 4 people shot of which was none may be killed as a minimum. that is the one usa used to describe mass shooting.

i have a question for you.

were you born in a barn?

Using that definition the USA is not an atypical country in terms of the number of mass shootings.

It is an atypical country in terms of something however. With a definition of 'mass shooting' that differentiates between an event like 'student kills a number of his contemporaries' and '6 members of taliban shoot a number of people', then the USA is atypical. What the word is that we give to this definition, that can distinguish between the two event examples stated, I do not know. I know it is not mass shooting as defined above, because that does not distinguish between these two example events. Whatever the word is the USA is atypical in terms of this definition. The one I do not know the word for.

thats the one the yanks use to list mass shootings and it is good enough for me. what happens in taliban country is a direct result of american interference so they are even responsible for that. if you release a tiger into the middle of a city and it kills a lot people you are responsible for their death.

here is a picture of before and after american interference in afghanistan. you just have to love americans, they just love to spread peace and democracy.

No, you're using the pictures to try and claim that America changed the country from a modern Western-style economy to a backwards shithole...

But it was The Taliban that we have to thank for that not America...

And you didn't even mention The Taliban as you now claim you did! :P

Caught out again with your B/S!

Guns don't kill people - people do!

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man who was “full of anger” went on a two-hour stabbing and robbery rampage in Southern California, killing four people and wounding two others, authorities said Wednesday.

i do not disagree but if you take away the gun they will not have a gun to kill with. and yes people will stab people
but ehhhh you can't take knives away as they tools to be used in the kitchen like.

why they feel the need to sell semi-autmatic assult rifles where a man can fire 60 bullets in about a minute is difficult to justify.

1,500,000 million americans killed with guns in the last 50 years in america. compare that to 1,300,000 americans killed in all the wars america has stared in the world. you are telling me thats ok, it is in the name of freedom.

you really need some brains.

now here is a comparison with knives.
in total 12563 people killed in 2016 in america through firearms and 1600 odd with knives.
also notice that so few shotguns are used too.

you can ban all the guns and rifles except shotguns. like most civilised nations.

but to be able to do that you have to be civilised first.
perhaps in another tousand years the yanks may join us in the civilised world.
