Did you know that the total projected cost of HS2 ....... is about the same the UK tax payer pays the Banks in interest on government loans every year, and rising yearly? At least with HS2 you would get something out of it ..... no matter what it cost! What did you get from the Banks for your £48bn interest you paid in 2018 ....... when they used their 'money tree' to create it out of nothing in the first place.

The politicians seem to have begun to realize that in reality ....... THERE IS A MAGIC MONEY TREE ....... unfortunately the EU makes sure that it belongs to the Banks ..... not the State!

Just a thought to ponder when you hear the cry '..... how are they going to pay for it?'.

Would they? Are you sure of that? The Banks create currency from thin air and they lend to the Government at interest! What would happen if the Government stopped them creating currency and did it from their own Central Bank? The Bank would now get the currency they lend to you from the Central Bank. The government creates what it needs, instead of borrowing it but does not have to generate interest, as it does not have to make a profit.

The Bank now becomes what most people believe they are anyway, the Intermediary between Lender (HMG) and the borrower (You, me, industry and small businesses). For the man in the street nothing changes. For the Government, can now repay the National Debt with the money it now creates, instead of letting the banks create it. That eliminates the National Debt and the Tax Payer no longer has to pay the Banks the equivalent of an HS2 every year in interest ............ for nothing! It's called 'Modern Monetary Theory'.

The banks will lose the interest on loans to government but basically nothing else changes. So, you are wrong! It is government spending that boosts the economy ...... not bank lending! That has the reverse effect because taxes have to be imposed to pay the interest to the bank and the debt spirals over time, on which we pay more interest, which is why we have a debt based economy.

Its a complicated subject.

I think though, that without realising it, Lordo is probably on your side. I’m sure he also believes that once Corbyn and McDonnell could print all the money they want, to fund their plans, the UK economy will go from strength to strength.

corbyn has not claimed he will have great economic success, he is just going to make the bastards pay their taxes. as we all do. the rest will take care of itself. economy is like vinyard, once matured it only needs minimum attention. you just pick grapes and stamp on them to make zivania, but for god sake wash your feet before you do. the main thing is to keep parasites in check. there are bloos suckers and all sorts that need to be controlled. you can use chemicals or you can use natural parasite removers.

I don't know what your experience is but you seem to have a very patronising (typical Momentum-ish) view which suggests that you actually have little idea about the lives of normal working people. In fact, you come across regarding them as being on a par with children, in need of your superior knowledge and benevolent guidance.

I think you might soon find that they're a bit more switched on than you and Mr Corbyn give them credit for. I'll go as far as to suggest that the average working people in the 148 Labour constituencies which voted leave, and again for Labour in 2017 when they lied about promising to honour the referendum result, might soon be about to show the pair of you just how savvy they actually are.
