No matter how often you deny it, the country voted for Brexit and expect Brexit to be delivered.

Promising to block Brexit like the Lib Dems or having a very fuzzy position on Brexit like Labour just didn't wash with the electorate.

You're in Cyprus CG so not much to loose. For me this is jumping over a cliff with my eyes wide open. 40% of our business is with the EU.

In the past I would dispatch goods to the EU with just an address of the recipient. Now every order has to have customs documents and this declaration and that bit of paper. It'll make life very difficult as far as servicing my European customers is concerned.

Cut the crap MR!

The EU economy is in decline whilst the UK seems to be the best of the bunch.

How come other countries outside of the EU are outperforming the EU?

And what a joke! Are you telling me that you do not buy stuff from other countries outside of the EU like China and USA? You can buy from Ebay, Amazon or any other business and in a few days the parcel is at your doorstep.

Don't be daft...

I've exported all over the world including shipping electronic goods to the US and China...

Exporting to the EU is a piece of piss and if you don't have everything in place already you're a mong and deserve to go out of business...

Plus, lets see how keen the EU is to negotiate a FTA now that Boris is back with a big majority and the threat of WTO back on the table... :D

It's not crap. Most businesses will suffer for sure.
As for the EU economy. Yes. some member states aren't dong well and are suffering high unemployment etc. This is their own failings. Greece for example, while the state pension in the UK is around £800.00 per month, Greece was at 4000 euros. It has since been reduced if I'm not mistaken and most of the pensioners had to downgrade their BMW X5's and Porsche Macans etc. As for Cyprus? I think Cyprus economy was false economy all along. Russian money poured in, dirty money turned into legitimate, clean money. You can't run a country with it's economy reliant on money laundering. The end result was inevitable. Nothing to do with the EU.

You know, perhaps if you didn't have such typical Remoaner negativity your business might be able to seize the opportunities that Brexit will present you...

Cyprus has had a seismic shift since joining the EU...

Everything is more expensive. 19% VAT apart from anything else... The fuckers cream off 19% of almost everything I spend... Why?

Fuel is much more expensive...

Electricity is going to be even more expensive next year as the EU fines us for having the wrong generators...

I wonder how some Cypriots can even afford to live now.

Everything to do with the EU.

Of course we have everything in place, we're not a Mickey Mouse outfit but there is time added to every order with this Brexshit. WTO agreements will take years, maybe as long as 10 years per agreement. What do think will happen to the UK economy in that time? There is also the risk of losing a large chunk of the Financial Services. To cut the long story short CG.........we are fucked.

Your business will not suffer one iota.

If it does, it's because you are too daft to import and export from non EU countries and if you ask me, that is quite pathetic.

And no, those EU countries not doing well like Greece (it isn't the only country) is because the Eurozone seems to think the one size fits all Euro will suit sll economies like Greece at one end and the highly industrial Germany at the extreme other end.

They never allowed Greece a chance and I for one believe that Germany did it on purpose as revenge against Greece for fighting them in WW2. With "friends" like that who needs enemies?
