There is nothing new here from what I can tell.

What he is saying is that Turkey still doesn't have an entitlement to the EEZ she claims in the Aegean and eastern med.

She gets what she is entitled to under UNCLOS and right of maritime passage in the Aegean.

He doesn't talk about the absurdity of Turkey's claims around Cyprus in this video.

...an article worth reading,

https://greekcitytimes.com/2020/09/21/t ... nd-cyprus/

...France in fact is keeping Greece in check, should she feel it is worth going alone. It is in affect EU solidarity which is at stake, not Greece's relation with Cyprus.

There is only one concession Greece can make. As mentioned in the video (Caspian Report).

Greece to declare its territorial waters to 12 nms but only have 6 nms over the East Aegean idkands so that there is no naval blockade of Turkey. Plus they have the right of innocent passage.

Turkey will have a corridor from The Sea of Marmara to the Aegean.

That’s it!

The Greek EEZ though remains intact.

Cyprus has vetoed sanctions against Belarus.

A pretty good move by Nik! Veto those sanctions to the moon and back till the EU apply sanctions against Turkey.

Serves the EU right! :D

I don’t think they would be saying that at all.

Cyprus and EU are a natural fit. The EU knows full well why there is a veto from Cyprus. And they shouldn’t be surprised at all. If Cyprus didn’t veto, then they would question our sanity.

And the punch line...

“Turkey is unable to file a lawsuit against Greece and Southern Cyprus because it is not a signatory of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), so it cannot give legal ground to its claim.”

I am as Cypriot as you'll ever be. The only difference with us is I am a FAIR Cypriot. I'm not a CUNT.

One question. What will Eddie do when his pen has ran out of ink?
