The GR Bird

The GR bird is a very rare, highly territorial avian.

It struts around transmitting a very characteristic challenging cry, aimed at any potential competitor. Link, link, link, link! Link, link, link, link!

Upon coming across an unfortunate intruder, that has inadvertently strayed into it's domain, it emits a loud stream of contemptuous adjectives which - sometimes - when highly provoked - includes highly offensive words, designed to disable its prey.

Since Feb 24th 2022 the GR bird has been designated an endangered and protected species by the UNEP. Attempting to harm or prosecute one is punishable by a process known as "forum shunning".

It's rumoured some people have an illegal GR bird trophy head for personal display. Unsubstantiated though.

You have to look at the whole picture.
You are missing 99% of the picture.
You really do need some help.
I posted what you need to consider before coming to conclusion ffs.

You're a terrible hypocrite Lordo. And somewhat - to use a contemporary expression - up your own ass (no cucumbers involved).

You have a habit of talking irrelevant and nonsensical bollocks. On those rare occasions when you accidentally stray into a factual situation you're invariably shown to be wrong.

Do stop digging and give it a rest? :(

Saturdays are a bit hectic for me to contribute much, but...

Not much has changed… the Russians are continuing to capture a handful of little towns and villages on a daily basis while the Ukrainians are dying, surrendering or fleeing further west.

The Ukies have poured everything into defending (read delaying) the loss of the two contested regions in the east, and as a result are paying a heavy price (cannon fodder they call it)… not that Zelensky the cross-dressing midget cares but any delay is good news to him!

As it was brought up (not by me) and I'm remembering events of 40 years ago these days (fuck - 40 what??? :( )

To the 450 men of my old battalion, 2 Para, who attacked 1100 Argentinians in long prepared defensive positions at Goose Green on this day. Those given prior warning of the attack by the good ole BBC. 2 Para winning, with the loss of 18 men and the capture of 961 Argentinians.

Moving on................................

Oh, come on. I thought it was a reasonable representation of your status and probable self perception of place on this forum.

Be fair - I left out the lunatic bits.

You are ignoring the whole picture.

Balance it out and show the similarities after all you are the one who claimed they can be compared and how much better British forces did compared with the Russians.

It’s pointless in counting the days… for the Russians don’t intend to ever abandon the east of Ukraine.

I said it at the onset that the more they are made to sacrifice the more Ukraine they’ll want to hang onto!

You might as well jump to day 5,846 from now... they’re still gonna be there!
