After a little thought...

It must be the West’s idea to antagonize Russian vehicle crew in the hope of increasing civilian casualties!

But the professional Russian soldier is highly trained to ignore civilians even when tempted.

Ukrainian citizens would go up to their faces and hurl abuse and they would just stare in the distance in Zelensky’s direction without a flinch!

And these are the kind of things that make the Russian military so admirable.

Of course, they know that any violations from them would mean that Putin hangs them by the balls for he goes by the book with no deviation!

I just heard that Germany are increasing military spending to 2% of their budget each year from now on.

They now have the highest military budget in Europe and the third largest in the world.

That is a big thing in German politics and a potential flash point in history....

The EU is basically arming itself to the teeth with Germany at the center.

It looks like Zelensky's days are numbered. Putin has brought in his Chechen thugs to sort him out.

German expansion on arms is just for show. There is no need as they are already in Nato and an attack on them is an attack on all of them. Although I am not so sure, Putin may even test that by taking back one of the Baltic states to test the resolve of Nato.

So now Germany can fund the inclusion of LGB and transsexual battalions, in line with strict EU standards.

This has wider ramifications,

Maybe, the Eu will unshackle itself from its over reliance on US defense and towing the line as a vassal to their foreign policy, probably another step towards an EU army.

I am not sure what that is just yet but this is definitely a flash point in history.

The only credible story of Chechen involvement was this…

https://www.rt.com/russia/550649-cheche ... y-ukraine/

There’s another propaganda story circulating of Ukrainians allegedly massacring an entire Chechen convoy but it’s all bullshit.

The most likely “foreign” involvement will come from Belarus but Putin would need to agree to make Belarus a nuclear state from all that I’ve read.

I think Belarus is offering up to 50,000 men if the deal is accepted by Putin, but I doubt he’s made any decision yet.

Belarus soldiers are more beasts… more disciplined and effective than Chechens.

The Chechens can get carried away and start committing war crimes.

Maybe sending the Chechens to Donbass is a better option... that way you have animal vs animal!

Back to the topic of Germany,

Gas prices have jumped by 35% since the Russian Sanctions, and the Germans are starting to backtrack on cutting the Russians completely out of SWIFT. Preferring a more targeted approach.

Like, cut them out but let us make payments for gas. Because the collateral damage to the EU is too high.

They think without thinking, that maybe Russia might refuse to supply any gas now, without a full reversal of the the sanctions and unfreezing of their assets..

Gasprom Bank was excluded from sanctions right from the start.
https://theconversation.com/swift-eject ... why-178065
So if the intention of sanctions is to block payments for Russian gas, the tool is not Swift; it is sanctions on Gazprom and its banking facilities.

I beleive the rise of prices is because Russia exports half a million barrels/day to US

That is interesting,

I was under the impression that swift was a bank transfer and by cutting Russia (70%) out of swift, it would mean that it would be very difficult for them to conduct their international trade.
