Tablets, laptops from amazon

Only by ignorant members of the public like yourself, and not by any company in the industry or state actor.

And ignorance is no defence. The penalties are 250K plus 7 years in a Federal Prison.

These are laws you don’t want to mess with. It’s right up there with terrorism and tampering with aviation such as when I got lazered last week. Those kids are risking doing significant jail time.

Don’t put it to the test.

No I am not defending the indefensibly inaccurate report. If the media can’t get basic facts right, then they have zero credibility.

So by your own standards this completely dangerous and inaccurate post is indefensible...?

You want to shut down all media outlets but presumably you will still be allowed to publish inaccurate and dangerous remarks without censure...? :?

No, my post was completely valid as the CM article was inaccurate and wrong.

I am not a journalist.

But you've already admitted that what you posted above was wrong!

It is demonstrably incorrect and arguably dangerous advice.

Yet you'll still argue that you were correct and argue against any censure! :?

I find it amazing that you could be a pilot.... You sound like Captain Key who refused to accept that he had failed to deploy the leading edge slats even as Papa India fell out of the air in a deep stall...

Yes I admitted but I told you that I am not a journalist.

I am just a member of the public posting on an Internet forum which is a form of social media just like Facebook and Twitter. People post all kinds of things on social media and I wouldn’t worry so much about that, but when a mainstream journalist publishes incorrect information then that is completely different.

No one logs in on a daily basis to be informed about the news from my posts. I am not a media outlet.

The CM is a news and media outlet. People do read this paper for their news (sad but true).

The article from the CM was incorrect and not factual and that is pretty poor journalism. This journalist is supposedly paid as a professional.

But you posted completely incorrect and dangerous information on a thread that has been viewed 12,000 times - probably more than the readership of the CM...

And you've admitted that the Nitrox advice was wrong but you still think that the CM (and every other media outlet) should be forced to the wall because of a bit of poor journalism...? :?

No sorry.

I am not a media outlet and do not purport to be a media outlet.

I am not a journalist and never have been a journalist.

I am a member of the public, participating in a social media environment.

My point was that a media article from the Cyprus MSM was incorrect and ill informed and that was the case.

No the point is that it was you and only you that was unable to decipher the ambiguity in the article.*

And it is probably you and only you that feels the entire industry should be held to unrealistic standards to make up for your inability to understand the article...

* In reality of course this media thing is just a cover for your faux pas over Nitrox.

There was no ambiguity in the article at all.

The article was just completely wrong as the journalist who wrote it did not properly research and verify the facts before publishing.

No, just simple English. You need to read the article again.

There is nothing pathetic here apart from the journalist not dotting his i's, and crossing his t's.

In Aviation terms, it's like landing with the gear up.
