It’s a bit like asking Al Capone; or any other criminal for that matter, why he did what he did.

Psychology tells us that criminals do what they do because they are incredibly self centered, anti-social, psychopathic, narcissistic, and brazen.

But the most fundamental ingredient is that they do what they do because they believe they will never get caught!

Criminals (being an individual or an entire nation) have a sense of invincibility which leads to a sense of immunity from ever facing justice!

This explains the behavior of the criminal United States, Israel and a few other hotshots.

In the case of America, the nation’s psychopathy is so profound that they have even convinced themselves that they are the “world’s police”!

Such is the nationwide level of delusion and audacity that they consider themselves to be the judge, jury and executioner of the entire planet!

However, if we look at the basic definition of “police” we find that it means…

“The department of government charged with prevention, detection, and prosecution of public nuisances and crimes”

Putting aside the fact that America was never voted by anyone to police the rest of the planet… if America were to police itself it would have no option but to lock itself up for a lifetime sentence for multiple charges…. possibly even face execution!

So the notion that America is the world’s police is not only totally false but most deceptive!

The infamous Colombian drug lord Escobar, used to throw some bones at the impoverished villages that surrounded him so that they would consider him a good man and serve as an early warning system whenever the authorities would approach the area.

In a similar way America had the worldwide “USAid” programme (I think Trump banned or is getting there) which was nothing but a sinister Trojan horse throwing some bones here and there while poking and testing for weaknesses in nations.

The organization’s ulterior motive was to find, approach, support and win over opposition parties and disgruntled individuals that would serve as potential puppet replacements in future government oustings!

Under the shrewd Putin, Russia was the first nation to figure out and ban this deceptive organization in 2012.

Err, I seem to have gone off in a tangent… I have forgotten what I started writing about!

Today I came across this stupid article in the Telegraph…

“Today, only Ukraine and Russia are ready for land war. We must change that”

Well duh!

The last time any one of the West’s protagonists had engaged in a “ground war” was probably the British in the Falkland’s war, and a rather short lived one at that... as the battle ground was so tiny!

Given that ever since 1990 the West’s protagonists only attack 3rd world defenseless countries and from the safe distances of fighter jets, navy ships, drones and maybe choppers (the latter only after special approval)… what’s the point of training for ground wars?

You don’t have the stomach for a ground war and you would most likely be humiliated against anyone who has 6 Kalashnikovs and 3 tanks… whereas you only know how to repel a dozen camel riders with slingshots, remember?

In fact, the West is so afraid of casualties and death that… before anyone gets the “all clear” to land boots on the ground, they must first LEVEL the entire town, observe it for a few days for any kind of movement (even crawling ants count as movement) and then fire a few more rounds from 10km away for good measure!

That’s how cynical they are… and here is Hamish (the article author) fantasizing about ground wars!

The Anglo-Americans are not warriors but bullies dear Hamish, and while they’ll happily beat up a first grader (Panama/Syria), they don’t want to try their luck with a 3rd grader (Iran/Korea)… never mind sixth! (China/Russia)

Today the “1000” prisoner exchange agreement begun and will span across three days to accommodate everyone…

But I notice a “little” issue...

“On Friday, May 23, 2025, Russia and Ukraine began the largest prisoner exchange since the start of the conflict, in which 270 Russian servicemen and 120 civilians, including residents of the Kursk region, returned to their homeland.”

Who doesn’t get it?

From this report we learn that the Ukrainian military had been abducting civilians from villages and towns in the Kursk area, so that they may later use in POW exchanges!
How wonderful!

What are the chances that the West’s media will report and condemn this absolutely disgusting and criminal act?

As a former tank commander, I can say one thing for certain: Putin’s demoralised conscripts are utterly unprepared for the shock action now hitting their lines. Ukrainian armoured formations are beginning to meet Russian forces in battle, and they are going to pulverise Russia’s defensive lines. I am confident for one simple reason: Ukraine will follow the Western ideology of manoeuvre warfare in a combined arms context, while the Russians will follow Soviet doctrine, relying on attrition and numbers. The Russians will find that the armour of Western tanks is far more resilient than flesh and bone, they will die in great numbers, and they will lose.
