No you can't fix the world cup.

But at the Eurovision, people understandably just voted for Ukraine, whether it was the best song or not. People get emotional when their fellow humans are suffering and with their votes they showed Ukrainian People that they are thinking of them and stand with them in solidarity. And there is nothing wrong with that. I would do the same, Bote for Ukraine ahead of anyone else, even if their song was the worst one, hoping that this little ray of sunshine will bring some smiles on Ukrainian faces.

I didn't watch it.

Oh come on Paphitis, for Zelensky everything is possible as foreign leaders and politicians are tripping all over themselves to do a photo-op with him. All Zelensky has to say is, “that World Cup trophy would look great in my office, so how about it guys” and his wish would be granted. :D

By the way Paphitis, have you had the opportunity to make the “cardiac approach” in San Diego yet?

Zelensky makes good politics to those wanting to be close to him. Better than kissing babies all the time during election times.

That is a long list of airports. You get to see a lot of the country from the air.

You get to do tight parallel landings and take offs at SFO as the runways are fairly close together as they cross each other!

Yes well sorry to disappoint about San Diego. I'll get there eventually. It's just not a route on the Newark Roster.

The way they roster the flight numbers is a bit of an art form in operations.

I'd say I'll get to San Diego when I get called in from Reserve and plucked down to Atlanta with the correct moon and stars alignment.

I haven't got to Mexico City neither yet.

What may well be? That the Russian military are currently viewed by most of the world as a busted flush? The daily good news about their achievements from the useful idiot network apart is that a matter of contention, back here on planet Earth?

Can't deny what? Russia is collecting NATO weapons? Good for them. If that's the case what are they going to do with them? Mass produce copies? I don't think so. Even if they had the capability would they be any better than the TU 144 or the Buran? This is a country with a GDP less than the like of Italy. 11th in the world last time I looked it up. A country rulled for 22 years by a dictator and one which spends billions on vanity defence projects. To most, that would set some alarm bells ringing.

We've recently seen stories of how they've recovered Russian weapons containing Western parts. So, maybe they'll strip anything they find down and use the bits.

Actually, a lot of the stuff being given to Ukraine is out of "past best before date" warehouses. NLAW and Javelin may get the front page but the French for instance have been giving them Milan. Which is 1980s technology. The Germans, having become laughing stocks over their Kevlar hats contribution, aren't passing on anything particularly sexy either.

Not a man I have had much respect for but here's a vid of Tony Blair being interviewed. He met good ole Vlad quite a few times and - given he's been out of power for a long time (never to return) and is of course no friend of either Bozo or Sleepy Joe - I think his opinion on the man perhaps carries some weight. Even with Russian apologists like your good self. There's stuff about NI afterwards in it but the Putin bit isn't very long. Treat yourself.

On no it isn't! Oh yes it is!

From what I've been reading of it, Russian propaganda (all media is State run in Russia) is a matter of concern to me.

The Russian media isn't just a mouthpiece or passive subject of the regime but also an actor within it and currently there seems to be a concerted effort to normalise talk of nuclear annihilation, feeding a war frenzy to convince Russians they're under existential attack from a new wave of Nazism.

Given the increasing amount of nuclear weapon sabre rattling from within Russia, coupled to their battlefield setbacks and talk of Putin's physical/mental condition I find it truly terrifying.

You sound like a broken record sometimes where it becomes monotonous to read the same thing again and again.

How did I become a Russian apologist?

Is that what happens by giving personal opinions and playing devils advocate by looking at the war from an angle which is not in the main media?

WOW, doesn’t it then make you a narrow minded pompous know it all teacher’s pet! :D

You can follow the general consensus on the war all you want and listen to whatever/whomever you want and I will not you fault you for it as anyone can think and believe anything they want, including mass propaganda delivered by the western media on the war. Enjoy. :D

As for Blair’s video, some valid points but overall same as any other politician’s views in the west. He is just a another team Player!

God forbid anyone say anything to the contrary or else they will get labeled as Russia’s apologist!

I don’t know who would make such labels?

Oh, wait a minute, you do!

Was Blair not the cunt who claimed Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and could fire them in 45 minutes? As well as help the yanks kill a million people and 10s of thousands of children amongst them.
Clearly a very trustworthy individual.

Kyiv gives up Mariupol, from several reports soldiers have been taken prisoners, reports also suggest that there are still 300 who remain at large.
